15 years of identifying as an immigrant, 2 completely different countries and cultures, 4 cities and many degrees and certifications later, I am here to help you get through the mental and emotional journey that immigration may have had on you.

I moved to Canada with a completely different background [Engineering!], and since all aspects of my being were going through a big change at the time of the move, I decided to also change my career path and follow my dreams to become a mental health care professional. So I ended up studying Psychology!
Graduated in 2015 from the University of beautiful Victoria BC with my degree, life pushed me on different paths and I happily and eagerly let it happen… Why, you may ask?
Because an immigrant’s search for “happiness” never really fades away no matter where life is, and what path she chooses…
Throughout the years I have had the privilege to work with different immigrant and refugee groups guiding them through settlement and overcoming mental hardships such as:
Emotional distress after immigration
Anxiety and depression management
The creation/search for a new identity after immigration
Culture shock and new norms
Conscious sense of belonging to the new (and strange) culture
Hopelessness, being stuck, shame, guilt, and even feeling of not-being- enough
And the list goes!
I am an accredited certified hypnotist ( U of T class of 2023) focused on controlling anxiety, addiction, and procrastination. I have also been trained as a life and wellness coach through different programs such as Ed Mylett coaching programs, Hollis Coaching programs, and NLP. I use my coaching background and tools to help clients with self-discovery techniques to battle post-immigration challenges..
I also am being trained and soon will be a certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist to be able to use more techniques and protocols to help my clients succeed.
My expertise is as follows:
Trauma healing using techniques such as Clinical Hypnosis, Positive Psychology protocols, DBT, values/inner critic work
Anxiety and depression management using DBT, NLP Coaching techniques focusing on building new cognitive and behavioral patterns, mind-body/somatic work
Habit changes (addictions, procrastination, etc…)
Identity analysis focusing on various self-discovery techniques
